چکیده

An outer bound for the degrees of freedom (DoF) region of the K-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channel (BC) is developed under the hybrid channel state information at transmitter (CSIT) model, in which the transmitter has instantaneous CSIT of channels to a subset of the receivers and delayed CSIT of channels to the rest of the receivers. For the 3-user MISO BC, when the transmitter has instantaneous CSIT of the channel to one receiver and delayed CSIT of channels to the other two, two new communication schemes are designed, which are able to achieve the DoF tuple of ( 1, 13 , 1 3 ) , with a sum DoF of 53 , that is greater than the sum DoF achievable only with delayed CSIT. Another communication scheme showing the benefit of the alternating CSIT model is also developed, to obtain the DoF tuple of ( 1, 49 , 4 9 ) for the 3-user MISO BC.

DoF Analysis of the K-user MISO Broadcast Channel with Alternating CSIT

We consider a K-user multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channel (BC) where the channel state information (CSI) of user i(i = 1, 2, . . . ,K) may be either perfect (P), delayed (D) or not known (N) at the transmitter with probabilities λP , λ i D and λ i N , respectively. In this channel, according to the three possible CSIT for each user, joint CSIT of the K users could have at most ...

How Much CSIT Feedback is Necessary for the Multiuser MISO Broadcast Channels?

This work considers the multiuser multiple-input single-output (MISO) broadcast channel (BC), where a transmitter with M antennas transmits information to K single-antenna users, and where as expected the quality and timeliness of channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT) is imperfect. Motivated by the fundamental question of how much feedback is necessary to achieve a certain perform...

Degrees-of-Freedom Region of Time Correlated MISO Broadcast Channel with Perfect Delayed CSIT and Asymmetric Partial Current CSIT

The impact of imperfect CSIT on the degrees of freedom (DoF) of a time correlated MISO Broadcast Channel has drawn a lot of attention recently. Maddah-Ali and Tse have shown that the completely stale CSIT still benefit the DoF. In very recent works, Yang et al. have extended the results by integrating the partial current CSIT for a two-user MISO broadcast channel. However, those researches so f...

Degrees-of-Freedom Regions for $K$-User MISO Time-Correlated Broadcast Channel

In this paper, we study the achievable degrees-of-freedom (DoF) regions of the K-user multiple-input-single-output (MISO) time correlated broadcast channel (BC). The time correlation induces knowledge of the current channel state information at transmitter (CSIT) with an estimation error P−α, where P is the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). We consider the following two scenarios: (i) K-user with K-...

Degrees-of-Freedom Region of MISO-OFDMA Broadcast Channel with Imperfect CSIT

This contribution investigates the Degrees-of-Freedom region of a two-user frequency correlated Multiple-Input-Single-Output (MISO) Broadcast Channel (BC) with imperfect Channel State Information at the transmitter (CSIT). We assume that the system consists of an arbitrary number of subbands, denoted as L. Besides, the CSIT state varies across users and subbands. A tight outer-bound is found as...
